Our Immediate Tasks:

 

- Replanning of the Hornsby Shire Rural Areas

- Widening New Line Road

 

As most people are aware Hornsby Council recently undertook a Survey of Rural Area residents, and some Urban residents, concerning the Replanning and Rezoning of the entire Rural Area. The results of that Survey are now public and show overwhelming support for change which leads to a process of Replanning that could take some years
to complete.

 

Within that Survey were a number of Visionary concepts which, if implemented properly, would result in a Rural Area that would retain all of its Rural character that we know and enjoy living with today but also promote population growth.

 

Mass subdivision is not on that agenda.

 

We want to work with Council to formulate the new plan and ensure that what results is what the Community wants.

 

Also please read the Petition for Widening New Line Road – this is an ongoing issue that has plagued most local residents for years – it needs to be addressed and fixed.

 

Council and Government want to know our concerns and appreciate our participation!
